Stephen and Mayra Kushner lead the Kushner Agency with a shared commitment to helping families and small businesses navigate the complex world of health insurance with personalized, strategic solutions.
Stephen began his insurance career in 2001, working alongside his father in their family’s agency, where he learned the true meaning of client-centered service and needs-based selling. After graduating from Penn State University with a degree in Accounting and Finance, he became a licensed insurance agent in 2009. His expertise spans health insurance, property and casualty, life insurance, and annuities.
Stephen’s philosophy is simple: We work for our clients, not the insurance companies. He doesn’t just sell insurance, he puts people in the best product for their needs.
Mayra graduated from Florida Atlantic University in 2008 with a degree in Accounting. Her career includes extensive management and customer service experience across industries such as accounting, legal, and human resources.
With a detail-oriented approach, Mayra ensures clients are not only in the right plan but know exactly how to use it. Whether it’s finding doctors or assisting with claims, she’s hands-on to make sure benefits work exactly as they should.
